MY STORY
I'm LRN Zoreida, and I write about gods with complicated love lives and even more complicated family drama.
Growing up, I was obsessed with Greek and Roman mythology. Not just the stories — the messy parts. The contradictions. The gods who were powerful yet flawed, petty yet somehow relatable. They were complex characters with flaws, desires, and consequences. They weren't heroes, but powerful beings who often made catastrophic mistakes.
I'd spend hours reading about their stories and legends, watching documentaries, and wondering: what if all those myths were true? What if the deities and monsters we read about actually walked among us?
That question became my obsession. And eventually, it became DIVINE AWAKENING, an epic historical fantasy series that spans over two millennia of myth, prophecy, and divine intrigue.
Why This Story
Most mythology retellings ask: "What if this one myth was real?"
I wanted to ask something bigger: "What if all of it was real? What if gods have been shaping history for millennia? What happens when immortals finally face their reckoning?"
I wanted to write a story where:
Gods aren't heroes or villains — they're complex beings fighting for survival
Vampires, werewolves, and witches aren't separate from mythology — they're woven into it
Love is as dangerous as prophecy, and just as unstoppable
Power corrupts, immortality isolates, and prophecies can't be controlled

When not writing about gods with complicated love lives and even more complicated family drama, LRN Zoreida can be found spending far too much time researching ancient history, reading fantasy novels, and watching historical documentaries and fantasy TV series (all in the name of "research," of course).
